With foresight, you have the ability to plan around upcoming events whilst running your care organisation. Whether those events are legislation changes, increased costs or structural changes. However, due to the scale and probable impact related to the uncertainty of the looming Brexit, the situation is currently blindfolding businesses throughout the UK.
Redcrier have looked at the issue in some depth to managing the impact of possible changes to our systems and processes. Therefore, minimising the possible impact for our clients and the services we provide.
Can your current training provider say the same?
Our training is developed in house and our Silver Box is marked by a team of specialist Markers based in our head office. Like a lot of companies, we collaborate with external partners in order to run the business, namely the software we operate to offer care providers a digital training solution.
Our online systems will not be affected by a cessation of trade with Europe for the following reasons:
- The Redcrier MarkiT system uses data storage that is based in the UK (UK Data Centre with full UK based support) provided for by a UK registered company. A no-deal Brexit will not affect our ability to continue to offer this service.
- We have checked all our employees’ rights to work with the UK.
- Redcrier is a company that trades exclusively within the UK and has no plans to expand into other markets outside of the UK at present. The economic impact of Brexit has yet to be seen but we will not be disadvantaged by the cessation of trade between Europe and the UK.
There are two aspects we have considered; firstly, the ability to access our online data, which I believe we have covered. Secondly, the economic impact of Brexit is unknown, and the Government has been less than helpful in assuring UK businesses whether it has stress tested the economy. Redcrier has a measured view on how we can survive such a downturn. Our accounts show we are well set to endure such a recession should this happen.
