We are delighted to be at the Care and Dementia Show for the second day today which being held at the NEC in Birmingham. We see this as a brilliant show to be involved with as it is designed to provide education, products and networking opportunities for organisations responsible for the care of older people.
We are especially looking forward to our Chief Executive, Alec Seville, joining the Q&A panel this year alongside Chief Executive for Skills for Care and the Regional Quality Manager for Connect to Care. This session is earmarked for today (12th October) at 14.15.
We understand that training is often one of the first things to get cut when budgets are under pressure so we want to help people to learn what funding and grants are still available to care operators for training and what are the easy wins that can be implemented in organisations to ensure that you can still implement training programmes.
